Kai-Hsiung Chang

A biomedical scientist with a special expertise on cancer omics and metabolic simulation. Prior to joining AB Biosciences, Dr. Chang’s achievements include defining a new steroidogenic pathway in advanced prostate cancer and identifying the first gain-of-function mutation in steroidogenic genes in castration-resistant PCa. He also developed an algorithm using RNA-seq to predict rewired metabolism and identified cancer-associated onco-metabolite that enables chromatin remodeling and lineage switch. Dr. Chang has 1 patent granted and 2 other applications are filed.
